Marina brings over 20 years of UI/UX design and branding experience to Iterate. Her focus on startups has provided her with a demonstrated history in creating brands, expanding and refining their marketing footprint, and working collaboratively with both small and large teams to overcome the obstacles startups often face. Before joining Iterate, Marina worked with L'Oréal, Sony, eBags, Tumi, Red Robin and Vail Resorts. Marina is fluent in French and conversational Spanish.
Being part of the first usability team at eBags. We brought in a variety of users and observed their interactions on the site, from the moment they found the home page to that final submission click in the shopping cart. It was illuminating.
When I realized how little the aesthetics of my designs mattered if they didn’t translate to usable products. All users, from sophisticated to hesitant, deserve a positive experience, free of confusion and frustration.
