IoT One Spotlight Podcast: How low-code platforms can transform your AI development process

On this week’s podcast with IoT One, our co-founder and CTO, Brian Sathianathan, was interviewed about the founding of Iterate.ai, the practicality of low code for large enterprise use, and the new version of our low code platform, Interplay®.

The podcast begins with Brian talking about how he met our co-founder and CEO, Jon Nordmark, and how they came together to create our Signals® platform, which tracks over 15.8 million companies for potential partnerships. Soon after creating Signals, both co-founders wanted to tackle another part of the puzzle, offering back-end and customer-facing application development that leverages the 5 Forces of Innovation: IoT, AI, Big Data, Blockchain, and Startups–this is where Interplay comes in. 

Brian then explains low code application development for large enterprises wanting to use Interplay. At Iterate.ai, we first start with asking the client for their business analysis or need that they recognize as mission critical, and we then think of the value proposition of the application they intend on creating. From there, we are able to use our low code platform for rapid prototyping. Brian shares that low code enables upscaling, allowing various employees within an organization to take the lead in innovation projects, not just the data scientists or IT teams. This creates a “can do attitude” as Brian dubs it, because the “leader who builds first, wins.”

The podcast continues with Brian emphasizing that Iterate.ai works across industries; we work with retail, convenience stores, automotive, companies that have over a billion in market capital, banks, manufacturing companies, and so many more. We know that our platform can support the innovation goals of any organization looking to digitally transform, fast. 

Before discussing our newest version of Interplay, Brian is asked how blockchain is relevant industrially– we typically hear about blockchain and finance, but what about industry? Brian explains that security and compliance for consumers is where blockchain fits in. We are seeing consumers wanting to know more about how their data is being used, and how their privacy is being protected. Using blockchain, consumers can control, authorize, and track how their data is being used on a daily basis. 

At the conclusion of the podcast, Brian highlights some of the newest features with our new version of Interplay, Version 7.0. Interplay now has front-end capabilities, a Figma builder, and a new page builder, to name a few. Brian also shared that we recently became an NVIDIA inception partner, too.
